Thanks to those who
have patiently waited for Unapoligetically
Biased to become a reality. It is no secret that this site was
in production longer than planned. Unapoligetically
Biased was probably in development longer than anything BADCP
has ever made. Some may have noticed that much of the content of this site
seems dated (circa 2015 to 2016). Such an observation would be accurate.
The intended release of this site was 2016, but faced numerous delays due
to consistent, unforseen obstacles. Though many of these obstacles were
just life, and things that happen in life, some were design and vision related.
It was
a challenge keeping the heavy content we have established, while simultaneously
keeping to the theme of "Gore". Taking two completely different
themes and successfully fusing them together takes more than just a web
search or listening to podcasts. It takes experience, time, devotion, and
patience, which is exactly what we put into it. The site changed forms numerous
times in the Alpha and Beta stages, and thousands of screenshots
were taken during that process to convey that theme of "Gore"
as accurately as possible. From the design of the visuals, to the structure
of the writing, Unapoligetically Biased was heavily inspired by heavy
metal band Deftones and their album Gore and additionally
by GlassJaw (Material Control), Korn (The Serenity
Of Suffering), Earth Crisis (Discipline), Soldier
(Hit The Bricks), and Candiria (While They Were Sleeping). |
